With so much grace, Fay has left the planet.

Dearest friends and family,

Fay left us at 6:11 pm this eve.
This afternoon, the nurses said, she was on her way.
Fabia was the last to say good bye.
This evening, the nurses said Fay was a patient who died with grace.

She slipped away once we had all come through, squeezed her hand and left the room,
leaving her the space to move along.

Where I live in the Hudson Valley, the sun is shining brightly and I had to go hike and think of our Fay. As I labored up the hill, breathing hard, I thought of Fay, laboring on into her journey, ever the graceful athlete passing me and soaring on miles ahead.

Good bye sweet Fay.
You shall be missed.
We will think of you daily, singing your praises, telling the stories
and
on July 18th at 11am
at the Church of the Redeemer in Newton, Ma
We will gather and hold hands and hug and be with you
all together.

Thank you, Hopie, for keeping us all connected throughout this difficult time.

I am so grateful Fabia took us under her wing.

Dear Closson Windle Clan,
My most heartfelt sympathies to all of you. Fay was a wonderful person, and will be missed by many. Fay was a huge presence in my childhood, and I have so many happy memories, going back many years, of time spent with Fay and family both in Little Compton and Exuma. When I was little, I adored her. She had such a fun-loving way. Spending time with Fay and Fabia, back when Fabs and I were still wearing Danskins and running wild around Bumble Bee Farm or Goat Cay, are some of my happiest childhood memories and are as vivid today as anything I have done in recent memory. I know I can speak for all the Colts when I say that we are thinking of Fay and all of you today. Much Love, Paris

Dear gentle Fay, You were so much on my mind during these last difficult weeks. I admired you so much and enjoyed seeing and chatting with you at Ben's games or catching glimpses of you on the tennis court. You were so good to me when I felt so along after having to leave Argentina in 1984. Bill your remain in my thoughts. It is such a wrench when a loved one moves on.
