Dear Friends,
Fay is now at Youville, a rehab hospital with a funny strange name.
She is getting herself physically pumped with exercise and food. She lost alot of weight with the staph that she hasn't totally conquered. We hope that she will be strong enough to endure the chemotherapy which might start in the next 2 weeks.
She really doesn't wish to have visitors or phone calls right now but as soon as she feels better,
we will let you know.

Dear Fay and Bill:
A close friend of ours has had multiple myeloma for ten years. He has endured stem cell replacement, numerous rounds of chemo. He has also had many "ups" -- including two new grandchildren. Is it worth it to him? You bet!
We hope this is of some consolation. You are too nice a person to have to go through all this. Glad you still have some sense of humor. Poop away!
